About the Role
Our client is facing one of its major challenges: powering the decade of electrification. The energy transition and massive electrification will accelerate in the coming months and years. As part of their role as a market facilitator, they are developing consumer-centric energy solutions.
One of the key solutions is sustainability-focused, aiming to anchor the greenness of energy in the system as a key enabler on the path toward a net-zero electricity system. This role is designed to help shape the future of energy by integrating greener energy sources into the system.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy.
Align the product roadmap with customer needs and company goals.
Engage with stakeholders across the organization and external partners to promote product adoption.
Support customers and energy service providers in accessing new sustainability-focused services.
Participate in events, conferences, and workshops related to sustainability and energy solutions.
Lead the implementation of new product features and functionalities.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth development and deployment.
Ensure alignment with local market regulations (Belgium & Germany).
Product Focus
You will focus on two key sustainability-driven solutions:
CO2 Intensity Indicator: Provides data for carbon accounting and enables innovative solutions linking flexibility and sustainability.
Granular Energy Certificates: Supports 24/7 matching of energy production & consumption through transparent certification.
Mission
Your mission will be to find the right market fit for these products in Belgium while supporting their expansion in Germany.
What We're Looking For
Experience: At least 5 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with experience in the energy sector.
Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of sustainability concepts within the energy market.
Languages: Fluent in English, plus Dutch or French (German is a bonus).
Product Vision: Ability to create, define, and execute a strong product strategy.
Market Launch Experience: Experience in bringing products to market and driving adoption.
Collaboration: Comfortable working with technical teams to deliver top-quality products.
Agility: Able to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactive, solution-oriented, and always looking for improvements.
Customer Focus: Thrives in a role where you engage directly with users and stakeholders.

Work Regime: Full-time
Location: Empereur (with occasional travel to Berlin)
