Service Description
As an Enterprise Architect within the IT Architecture team, you will:
Portfolio Management and Strategy:
Analyze corporate strategies and translate them into application portfolio management strategies, IT roadmaps, and business capability maps.
Define architecture and functional design requirements to align with business objectives.
Conduct trade-off analyses using industry-recognized methods (e.g., ATAM) to formulate constructive recommendations.
Application Portfolio Management:
Work closely with application owners and stakeholders to maintain the application portfolio.
Gather application-related information (e.g., cost data) and analyze it using methods like CBAM.
Maintain an application map of the as-is IT landscape, covering layers such as applications, technology, data, and integration.
Enterprise Architecture Repository:
Enrich and maintain the enterprise architecture repository, including architecture decisions and application maps.
Contribute to an enterprise-wide IT roadmap reflecting current and planned initiatives, projects, and dependencies.
Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate application strategy processes to business and IT stakeholders.
Validate recommendations with senior management in business and IT.
Integrate architecture-related processes with other IT management frameworks, such as Project Portfolio and IT Service Management.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in an Enterprise Architecture function.
Experience in IT processes and methodologies, including ITIL, TOGAF, ArchiMate, Domain-Driven Design.
Familiarity with cloud-native architecture patterns.
Real-world experience designing and delivering IT products in agile environments (preferred).
Technical Skills:
Expertise in reference architectures and advocacy.
Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures.
Proficiency in using modeling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect or similar.
Knowledge of Gartner Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TIME for APM).
Soft Skills:
Strong collaboration focus and presentation skills.
Ability to work autonomously and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Result-oriented and proactive.
Language Requirements:
Fluent in English (essential for supplier/procurement documentation and external meetings).
Proficiency in Dutch and/or French (mandatory). German knowledge is a plus.
Additional Experience:
Exposure to large, complex IT environments (e.g., in large companies).
Familiarity with merger situations and following transformations (preferred).

Eligibility Requirements:
Non-EU candidates must have a valid work permit and residence permit allowing them to work and reside in Belgium.
