SAP Fullstack / CAPM Development Service

Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and sustainability of electricity supply. As part of an ambitious sustainability program, they have developed a proprietary supply chain tracking and carbon accounting software (built in SAP CAP) called "Upstream." This in-house tool collects supply-chain-related data, such as emissions caused by the purchase of physical assets from suppliers, to help steer and report on the decarbonization of their supply chain. The product team behind this initiative was a proud winner of the 2024 SAP Innovation Award and continues to expand to meet the growing demand for accurate sustainability data and actions.
Service Description:
We are building and extending a custom SAP Fiori web application. To support this, we are seeking an experienced SAP CAP JS (Fullstack) Developer to join our team and further improve and enhance our product. The role focuses both on maintaining the current solution and developing new features. Key tasks include:
Developing and extending SAP UI5 applications.
Creating and enhancing SAP CAP ODATA services.
Maintaining CDS database definitions.
Advising the product team (Functional Analysts/Product Owner) on requirements.
Documenting the developed technologies.
Requirements:
In-depth technical expertise in SAP UI5, CAP, and CDS.
Proficiency in development tools, including Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP HANA DB, SAP BTP Cockpit, CF, and CDS CLI.
Strong experience in UI5/JavaScript/TypeScript programming (ABAP CDS skills are a plus).
Excellent SAP User Experience and SAP Frontend skills (SAP UI5/Fiori).
Solid understanding of Git and Jira ticketing systems.
Strong analytical and technical documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch, French, or German is a plus.
Additional Information:
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31/03/2026 (with possible extension)
Work Regime: Full-time
Location: Brussels (Sablon & Empereur buildings, near Central Station)
Hybrid work: Minimum 2 days per week on-site; up to 3 days remote
Occasional travel to Berlin (2-3 days once or twice per year) may be required
Important Notes for Non-EU Candidates:
If the consultant will work in Belgium, they must meet the following criteria:
Possess a valid work permit allowing employment in Belgium.
Hold a valid residence permit confirming the right of residence in Belgium.
