Mission Context:
Our client in the Banking Sector is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support its Local Business unit in Wallonia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to Relationship Managers, ensuring seamless client interactions, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Contact:
Develop a strong understanding of clients, their businesses, industry sectors, and their relationship with the bank.
Act as the primary point of contact for daily client interactions, mainly handling phone inquiries and email communications.
Ensure service delivery aligns with internal policies and guidelines.
2. Information Management:
Gather relevant data to support Relationship Managers in acquisition, prospecting, and credit approval processes.
Assist in the preparation and administration of client dossiers.
3. Commercial Administration:
Execute administrative tasks resulting from client interactions, ensuring accurate and complete dossier management.
Input and manage client information across different banking systems in close collaboration with advisors.
4. Compliance & Operational Risk:
Adhere to banking compliance guidelines, ensuring correct and transparent communication with clients.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), and MiFID regulations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
Experience & Technical Skills:
1 to 3 years of professional experience in banking, preferably in a commercial service role (branch network) or credit-related functional service.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with banking IT tools.
Strong practical knowledge of banking products, services, and financial analysis.
Soft Skills:
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Customer-oriented and diplomatic approach.
Ability to work independently and handle stress effectively.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality.
Language Requirements:
French: Native proficiency (mandatory)
Dutch: Knowledge is an asset
English: Knowledge is an asset
