Cyber Security Strategy & Project Manager

Context:Our client in the Banking Sector is seeking a Cyber Security Strategy & Project Manager to join the Center of Excellence (CoE) Security 'Strategy and Delivery' team. This team is responsible for defining and implementing the bank's cyber security strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and overseeing the execution of security initiatives. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and senior management to drive security enhancements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth analysis of data security requirements in collaboration with security architects.

Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, recommending necessary changes.

Ensure security requirements align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the bank's strategic goals.

Influence security policies and procedures, particularly in the field of data security.

Develop high-level roadmaps outlining priority actions for a three-year investment horizon, including macro-budgets.

Collaborate with Group-level teams to deploy standard security solutions that balance business and cybersecurity needs.

Lead all phases of cyber security initiatives from inception to completion, prioritizing workstreams and activities.

Establish project milestones, ensuring adherence to schedules while identifying and mitigating risks.

Identify dependencies, risks, and challenges across security initiatives.

Engage regularly with senior and executive management to provide updates on security initiatives.

Aggregate stakeholder input into high-quality deliverables supported by clear communication materials.

Work Arrangement:

50% on-site, 50% remote work.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Master's degree required.

Certifications:

Mandatory: Project management and change management certifications (e.g., Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR).

Preferable: Security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC.

Languages:

Fluent in French and Dutch.

Fluent in English (mandatory).

Experience:

10+ years of experience managing multiple IT and/or security projects and programs.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex issues and draw well-reasoned conclusions.

Extensive experience in the financial services industry.

Preferable: Experience in data security projects and Agile methodologies.

Technical Expertise:

Mandatory: Strong background in information security governance.

Preferable: IT background.
