Job Overview
Our client in the Insurance Sector is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between ICT and Business, ensuring the seamless execution of ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will analyze business needs, translate them into functional requirements, and support software development in a JAVA-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Translate business needs into functional and business analysis (user stories) and document requirements within the applicable domain.
Coordinate and support the implementation of software solutions in collaboration with development teams.
Conduct functional analysis with stakeholders and prioritize tasks with the team.
Assist project managers in defining processes and best practices that add value to the business.
Write, guide, and control test cases to ensure quality assurance.
Test solutions in integrated environments, following Agile methodologies, and support customers in user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify and report potential issues to functional analysts to ensure optimal solutions.
Assess the impact of changes on software modules and report any potential risks.
Share lessons learned and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Perform quality analysis using analytical expertise and industry-standard tools (stories, acceptance criteria, UML, etc.).
Secondary Responsibilities:
Conduct quality assurance and impact analysis.
Perform final solution testing before deployment to end users.
Maintain documentation and reporting standards.
Implement improvement actions and best practices in software development.
Provide expert advice and support on software solutions.
Assist in the creation of test plans and cases.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills:
5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Expertise in MS Office tools and Business Analysis.
Strong understanding of IT architecture and software testing.
Experience with enterprise architecture (preferred).
Knowledge of Project Management principles.
Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environments.
