Mission
Our client in the Energy Sector plays a crucial role in the energy transition, driving decarbonization, decentralization, internationalization, and digitalization. These transformations require a fundamental shift in how the organization operates, necessitating the successful execution of multiple business transformation projects.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the initiation, planning, and execution of one or more business transformation projects, including the deployment of supporting digital tools.
Key Responsibilities
Project Preparation & Execution
Define project scope, activities, budget, and resource estimations.
Build a strong business case to support portfolio management.
Oversee project planning, scope, resource allocation, quality control, risk management, and issue resolution.
Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration, motivation, and competency development.
Change & Stakeholder Management
Drive business change through harmonization, planning, implementation, and user training.
Manage complex, high-value change initiatives while ensuring effective governance.
Communicate and report progress to the Steering Committee, Portfolio Management, and other stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
If applicable, oversee the selection and management of external partners, including legal and business requirements.
Ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Master's degree in a technical or economic field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing business transformation projects.
Proven expertise in project management methodologies such as Scrum Agile, Prince2, or equivalent (Agile experience is a plus).
Ability to navigate and adapt to complex and rapidly changing environments.
Experience in the public sector, energy sector, or infrastructure engineering & construction is a strong advantage.
Technical & Soft Skills
Strong stakeholder management skills, including interactions with unions, business departments, controlling, IT, and Group Innovation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage expectations at all levels.
Strong affinity with digitalization, business analysis, change management, and IT.
Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset.
Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to lead and motivate project teams effectively.
Languages
Fluent in French or Dutch (with a strong understanding of the second language).
Fluent in English.
