Job Summary:
The Enterprise Architect AI is responsible for designing and implementing scalable AI solutions across both cloud and on-premises environments. This role focuses on the seamless integration of AI models into the organization's technology stack, driving innovation, scalability, and reusability. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in both cloud-native and legacy data systems, with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that align with business objectives. The candidate will also develop and document comprehensive reference architectures and blueprints to guide the organization's AI strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data architectures to deploy AI models, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across cloud and on-premises environments.
Integrate AI solutions with existing data infrastructures, ensuring compatibility between legacy systems and modern cloud-native platforms.
Lead efforts to modernize data systems, transitioning from on-premises legacy architectures to cloud-native data lakes, warehouses, and advanced analytics platforms.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to align AI models and data platforms with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
Foster a product engineering mindset within the data architecture teams, ensuring solutions are built for reusability, flexibility, and scalability.
Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance, ensuring architectures meet regulatory standards and protect sensitive information.
Oversee the integration of DevOps practices into data pipelines and AI solution deployments to enhance automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the data ecosystem.
Communicate complex technical architectures and AI strategies to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise architecture and business objectives.
Skills Profile:
Technologies: Expertise in AI/ML frameworks and technologies (e.g., conversational AI, GenAI, LLM, RAG), cloud services, data processing platforms, relational databases, document stores, key-value stores, streaming and messaging systems, Lakehouse architecture, and ETL pipelines.
Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with cloud-based data architectures, including storage, processing, and AI integration.
AI/ML Integration: Deep knowledge of integrating AI models into existing data infrastructures and deploying them across hybrid environments.
AI Governance & Security: Expertise in AI governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and implementing robust security practices across both cloud and on-premises environments.
Essential Functions:
Make decisions regarding the overall enterprise architecture priorities.
Translate business needs into architectural solutions (current and target state) and define solutions to problems through the application of information technology.
Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards/guidelines for the integration of multiple platforms.
Develop and document frameworks for the integration and implementation of changes to architectural standards.
Determine architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.
Provide technical guidance to project teams and mentor junior IT architects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent formal training.
Minimum Experience:
Ten years of equivalent work experience in an information technology or engineering environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong communication skills.
Ability to apply core computer concepts, theories, principles, and methods to business problems and projects.
