Service Description:
You will be responsible for the Civil Engineering component within multidisciplinary Substation projects, from the definitive phase to project closure. This role specifically involves the study and supervision of the civil aspects of substations and high-voltage installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop technical solutions during the design phase.
Establish and manage budgets.
Create and oversee project schedules, coordinating multiple projects.
Develop and manage work scenarios in coordination with the Project Leader (PL).
Coordinate and monitor architectural plans for permit applications.
Manage, coordinate, and supervise execution studies, including stability analyses of civil structures and plan development.
Direct and review external study partners.
Prepare technical specifications and price schedules for contractor engagement.
Oversee and coordinate construction sites and contractors, directing the Civil Engineering site supervisor (participating in every second or third meeting, depending on project progress).
Participate in project handovers.
Technically and financially close projects (financial management is the PL's responsibility; the Project Engineer provides support upon request).
Perform tasks autonomously with a high degree of proactivity and problem-solving skills, offering innovative solutions for improvement, optimization, and alternative approaches.
Requirements:
Native-level proficiency in French with a good command of Dutch.
Preferably hold an Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Well-organized, flexible, and willing to work collaboratively.
Strong affinity for civil engineering techniques, soil mechanics, and basic knowledge of stability calculations.
Capable of managing multiple small projects simultaneously.
Proactive in task management within the project and adept at problem-solving.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
