Your Mission: Lead Application Modernization
By 2025, our client aims to:
✅ Refactor and modernize its entire application portfolio.
✅ Eliminate technical debt through upgrades and optimizations.
✅ Transition from monolithic applications to cloud-based, data-centric solutions using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices.
Your role? To coordinate and drive this critical transformation!
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead and coordinate IT projects from initiation to completion.
✔ Facilitate architecture decomposition between business, IT, and architecture teams.
✔ Oversee functional and technical refactoring of in-house applications.
✔ Manage multiple software development teams (.NET, Java developers & architects).
✔ Ensure seamless integration of modernization initiatives across business units.
✔ Validate test strategies and oversee quality assurance.
✔ Plan, coordinate, and deploy IT solutions in production environments.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience
✔ 10+ years of experience in IT project management.
✔ Expertise in modern, cloud-based, data-centric architectures (DDD, microservices).
✔ Experience in international corporate environments.
✔ Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
✔ Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and architects on technical matters.
✔ Analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Nice-to-Have
🔹 Knowledge of the electricity and energy sector.
🔹 Experience integrating market products into existing application architectures.
Language Requirements
Fluent in English + French or Dutch (with a working knowledge of the other). German is a plus.
