Job Description:
We are seeking two Senior UX Researchers to join two different departments within our client's organization. As a UX Researcher, you will lead research activities and play an integral role in shaping user experiences across various platforms.

1. UX Researcher for the Lighthouse Department:
Lighthouse is a monitoring solution designed to alert business and IT partners at the right time for effective incident management. The Senior UX Researcher will:

Conduct in-depth customer research to understand users' needs.
Translate insights into product improvements, focusing on system monitoring and alerting.
Collaborate closely with the Lighthouse team to enhance the user experience by designing user journeys based on both quantitative and qualitative data.
Engage with a technical audience to ensure customer requirements are seamlessly integrated into the product.
2. UX Researcher for the Digital Workplace:
The Digital Workplace team manages the Users Support product, providing seamless support experiences for staff and partners. The Senior UX Researcher will:

Refine and enhance the user experience of the service portal used for support requests.
Conduct usability tests, interviews, and gather insights from users and support agents.
Make actionable design improvements to optimize the effectiveness of support tools.
Work closely with the product team and stakeholders to implement solutions that align with user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities for Both Roles:
Lead UX research activities and document findings in the Research repository.
Conduct workshops on functional framing, ideation, and co-design with key stakeholders.
Gather user insights using appropriate research methods such as interviews, surveys, on-site observations, and user testing.
Create personas, experience maps, and recommend user journey improvements.
Develop storyboards, user flows, and wireframes to communicate design concepts.
Collaborate with UI Designers and Developers to implement design ideas.
Contribute to broader UX activities, sharing knowledge and feedback with the team.
Requirements:
Experience and Skills:
7+ years of experience in UX design and research, particularly in agile project environments.
Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
3+ years of experience in interaction design and information architecture.
Proficiency in creating low-fidelity wireframes and user flows in Figma.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of work.
Familiarity with design systems and research tools such as Figma and Condens.
Experience working with developers and designing tools for technical audiences (e.g., databases, cloud services) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Pragmatic, action-oriented, and positive attitude.
Adaptability, resilience, and ability to work autonomously.
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within networked teams.
Education:
A formal qualification in UX (Master's degree or certification) is required.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory (for user interaction and conducting research).
Knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is a plus.
Additional Information:
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred.
Location: Mainly based in Belgium, with occasional travel to Germany.
Work Authorization: Candidates must possess a valid work permit and residence permit allowing them to work in Belgium.
