Opportunity to join a World Class clinical stage Biotech, focused within the oncology space as a Senior Bioinformatician.
Responsibilities:
Involved in experimental design of new datasets being generated.
To develop, deploy and document software for the automation of processing, quality control and dissemination of 'omics data.
To administer computing infrastructure and maintain software to store, process and analyse NGS data and associated information.
Requirements:
MSc / PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, data science, human genetics or any other relevant scientific discipline.
Experience within the oncology space.
Experience in developing and deploying NGS pipelines in HPC environments.
Experience working in a Unix / Linux environment and proficiency in Unix shell scripting.
Proficient in Python and R
Experience with Nextflow, Snakemake and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
