Background
Our client in the retail sector is developing a global "delayed capture" payment solution. This system is a critical requirement for Denmark and an important feature for the US and other markets. It allows for the capture of customer payments at various stages of the fulfillment process, depending on market requirements, rather than at the moment of purchase.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Lead the complex "delayed capture" payment solution project, managing multiple dependencies and conflicting requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Align priorities across various teams and markets, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Roadmap Management: Maintain and manage a comprehensive roadmap of payment-related features, ensuring alignment with market needs, and tracking deadlines and risks.
Risk Management & Escalation: Identify and manage risks effectively, escalating issues as necessary to the leadership team to facilitate timely decision-making and project progression.
Desired Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
Project Management Experience: Strong background in project management within finance, banking, or payment systems.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage stakeholders and conflicting priorities effectively.
Risk Management: Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
Documentation & Meeting Facilitation: Skills in documenting processes and facilitating meetings to ensure clear communication and record-keeping.
Summary
This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager with a robust background in finance or payment systems. The successful candidate will be adept at managing complex projects with multiple dependencies, coordinating teams, handling stakeholder alignment, and managing risks, all while keeping leadership engaged in key decision-making processes.
