Performance Calibration Engineer sort for manufacturing environment. You will be familiar with engine performance development. The role is a mix of new product development and improving current models. The environment aims for efficiencies in quality improvement and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of engine performance development and validation
* Adopting new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) achieving greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
* Planning and improving engineering procedures and operations to make the product or process more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
* Collaborating with all functional areas to provide a design solution that meets the requirements of the customer and dealer network.
Experience required
* Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
* Cameo or AVL software or similar
* Performance and emissions calibrations
* Engine performance development and validation
* New product development and maintaining existing product
* Support with testing and capturing data.
* Engine development from off highway or automotive
* Analytical thinking - Uses flow charts, Pareto charts, fish diagrams
