About the Role
We are recruiting an HCM Functional Analyst to join our client's Corporate Solutions team within their Corporate tribe and HR & Corporate Solutions (HRCOR) division. This team is responsible for Human Capital Management (HCM) capabilities and will play a pivotal role in an upcoming HR transformation program set to span the next 2-3 years. This role involves translating business and IT requirements into functional specifications, collaborating closely with SAP HR analysts, business owners, and SaaS/PaaS vendors to ensure the successful delivery of HCM solutions.
Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis & Solution Design: Translate business and IT needs into functional specifications, prioritizing robustness, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
Project Participation: Contribute to creative, project-based solutions, offering support and insights for complex issues and solutions.
Documentation & Support: Prepare clear, structured documentation for users, developers, testers, and operational teams. Provide functional support and guidance to colleagues and end-users.
Quality Assurance: Actively participate in the validation of solutions, including describing, reporting, and efficiently monitoring issues.
Solution Deployment: Oversee the implementation of requirements from concept to production deployment.
User Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for end-users, analyzing and independently resolving issues as they arise.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Functional Expertise in HRM: Demonstrated functional knowledge in Human Resource Management (HRM) domains.
Experience in Complex IT Environments: 3-5 years of experience in functional analysis within a complex IT setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP Workzone, UI Cards, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP ECC backend (ABAP).
Automated Testing & Build: Experience in automated testing (unit and regression testing) and build processes.
Foundational Technology Knowledge: Basic understanding of networks, security, operating systems, SaaS, PaaS, integrations, interfacing, and middleware.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Agile Development Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile principles, especially Scrum, is a plus, as the team follows Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of S4Hana HCM: Experience with S4Hana HCM is advantageous.
Additional Technical Skills: Knowledge in continuous integration, automated testing, Microservices, SOA, REST, and SOAP is beneficial.
