An EPC Construction Planner is needed for a contract opportunity in Rotterdam for a leading renewable energy project.
Full right to work required
You will bring five years as EPC Lead having covered major engineering project planning. Bring your office and site experience from the Oil and Gas industry to this headline project in Rotterdam.
There will be project scheduling and work processing and plan creation.
Other areas of involvement
* project scope report and the execution strategy,
* client reporting requirements to support project management.
Working with
* Senior Project Managers,
* Project Managers, Procurement Managers,
* Construction Managers, Project Engineers
* Lead Engineers to proactively develop and status the schedule.
Tasks
* Development of fully integrated Baseline EPC Level 3 schedules.
* Utilising AWP process, work alongside the construction team to develop Level 3 Construction schedule that is supported by Engineering and Procurement.
* Development of Construction Progress Measurement System (PMS)
* Monthly updates of Project Master Level 3 schedules
* Collection of information / production of monthly Status Report
* Conduct Critical Path Analyses and recommend mitigating actions where necessary.
* Production of progress, productive curves and earned value reporting.
* Production / issue of formal reports (with input from Projects).
* Preparing ad hoc progress reports to facilitate effective controls within Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.
* Provide statistical data for management reviews.
* Regular project team reviews, Public Planning Meeting and Last Planner Meetings.
* Initiate day-to-day discussions with all groups involved in a project to assess the change / schedule implication of ongoing work.
* Schedule reduction exercises to provide ballpark schedule views for alternatives.
* Assist project team in development of action plans to avoid / minimise cost / schedule overruns.
* Development of Level 2 Schedules to support Proposals.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years major project planning engineering experience including EPC head office and site environments preferably in oil and gas industry.
* Experienced user of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
* Demonstrated technical competency in the field of project Planning
* Very good oral and written communication skills.
* Proactive approach to the work.
* Demonstrable interpersonal, teambuilding skills.
* Willingness to travel and take on site assignments within Europe.
* Experience with Deltek Acumen Risk is an advantage.
