About the Role:
We are recruiting for our client, a prominent company in the Telecommunications Sector, seeking a skilled BI/AI Engineer to join their CRM Analytics Squad. This role focuses on leveraging data to support marketing strategies, predictive modeling, and operational improvements through advanced analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support CRM Analytics Squad Initiatives:
Collaborate with a team using databases in the client's Data Warehouse (Teradata, Cloudera) to guide marketing strategies.
Contribute to tasks like segmentation, predictive modeling, Power BI dashboard creation, and SQL/Python scripting.
2. AI Engineering & Data Scientist Support:
Provide essential data for predictive model creation.
Define and maintain frameworks for storing model results.
Monitor and ensure the performance of predictive models.
3. Data Manipulation & Feature Engineering:
Extract maximum value from data, making it usable for colleagues.
Analyze and replicate customer behavior drivers (e.g., buying behavior, churn) through database insights.
4. Data Availability & IT Coordination:
Ensure necessary data is available in the Data Warehouse.
Work closely with the IT department to clarify and follow up on data requirements.
5. Reporting Development:
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, including those tracking predictive model performance.
6. TV Advertising Support:
Create required data marts and feed them into the TV advertising process.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing teams to define data requirements, report layouts, and operational improvements.
Work with IT developers to detail technical data provisioning requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong SQL knowledge (Teradata/Oracle) in a business intelligence context.
Solid understanding of database management and data warehousing.
Familiarity with Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Python, Spark) is a plus.
Power BI expertise is an advantage.
Analytical Skills:
Strong interest in predictive modeling (no direct model development required).
Soft Skills:
Dynamic, entrepreneurial, and proactive mindset.
Stress-resistant, quick learner, and constructive approach to challenges.
Strong communication skills and results-oriented attitude.
Languages:
Proficiency in Dutch/English or French/English.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, quantitative analytics, economics, marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in an analytical business environment.
