Mobile Operation and Maintenance Project Leader
Assignment Overview:
Our client, a leader in the telecommunications sector, is seeking an experienced Project Leader to join the team responsible for managing the maintenance of a consolidated mobile network. The role involves leading various projects, including incident management, site acceptance, and civil works. You will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance services provided by the field teams and ensuring the successful delivery of services to MWingz. You will closely monitor project KPIs, budget, and progress to ensure the achievement of annual operational objectives. This role requires close collaboration with both the client and field teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee the execution of the contract in close collaboration with the client and local teams.
Monitor daily incidents and changes, acting as the primary point of contact for both the client and your organization.
Ensure the proper application and improvement of processes, tools, work instructions, and reporting, working alongside the teams and client.
Facilitate regular project and status meetings.
Ensure compliance with planning, budget, and quality requirements, as well as field staff acceptance.
Report on all activities through dashboards, meeting reports, and other documentation to management and project stakeholders at both national and local levels.
Collaborate operationally with NEO and GIS teams, serving as the contact point for other internal divisions.
Proactively identify and address issues, communicating lessons learned and best practices to prevent future problems.
Support more generic tasks such as headcount forecasting, capacity management (Binocs), budget forecasting and analysis, and efficiency improvements.
Required Profile:
Experience:

Solid understanding of telecommunications networks.
Experience in planning, managing, and overseeing both simple and complex projects simultaneously, including timing and budget management.
Prior experience in an operational environment is an advantage.
Skills and Expertise:

Strong communication and presentation skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
ITIL knowledge is a plus.
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to synthesize project content and monitor progress.
Keen interest in technical, operational, and financial aspects of project management.
Team player with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve tangible results.
Well-organized and able to manage both personal and team workloads efficiently.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with a structured approach to project management.
Proficient in managing the workload of operational teams.
Comfortable in a no-nonsense, open feedback culture.
Good knowledge of Office applications (Office365, Power BI, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Languages:

Fluency in one of the national languages, with a strong command of English.
