Job Title: Enterprise Architect for Security
Location: Belgium (On-site 4 days per month mandatory)

Division: Enterprise Architecture (EA)
You will be joining the Enterprise Architecture division at a leading company in the Financial Sector. The EA division is a multi-disciplinary team of architects responsible for:

Defining enterprise architecture directions and standards aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Establishing investment themes to develop or transform IT capabilities to support business strategies.
Maintaining a multi-year strategic investment plan and technology roadmap, advising on IT investment decisions.
Steering the development and realization of capabilities and solutions (process, applications, data, and technology) in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Role: Enterprise Architect - Security
As part of the Security Squad, your role as an Enterprise Architect will involve defining target and transition architectures and roadmaps for security capabilities. These capabilities ensure the safety of customer interactions, market operations, and internal processes. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Strategy Enablement
Analyze strategic business and IT objectives, leveraging knowledge of industry and market trends to assess their impact on the company's strategy, direction, and architecture.
Identify gaps and opportunities in current and future IT capabilities, recommending solutions to drive targeted outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align business and IT strategies, supporting the creation of a change roadmap that delivers strategic objectives.
Develop target and/or transition architectures and standards, maintaining visibility on strategic direction and delivery steering.
2. Strategy Implementation Oversight
Ensure transparency on the progress of capability implementation, ensuring alignment with set targets and roadmaps.
Monitor the evolution of technology debt, and plan for mitigation and remediation actions.
3. Delivery Planning and Solutions
Develop clear standards, reference architecture patterns, principles, and guardrails through the EA governance model to support effective decision-making.
Collaborate with security, delivery, and infrastructure teams to ensure architectural consistency and leverage shared technologies and tools where appropriate.
4. Architecture Advisory
Provide consultative advice to business leaders and organizational stakeholders to support decision-making related to strategy, delivery, and other topics.
5. Architecture Practice
Work collaboratively with other architects, contributing to transversal architectural topics.
Support continuous improvement in architectural practice and delivery of services.
Profile
IT Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (both on-premises and cloud-based), including software development practices.
Experience in Regulated Environments: Preferably from the financial sector. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as DORA, CPMI-IOSCO is an advantage.
Cybersecurity Expertise: Experience in Cybersecurity and/or operational resilience (e.g., Disaster Recovery Plans, Business Impact Assessments, Business Continuity Management tools).
Analytical and Organizational Skills: Able to navigate complex, evolving environments with expert planning and a results-oriented approach.
Leadership and Collaboration: Effective leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence others and deliver business outcomes.
Communication Skills: Fluent in English with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences and levels of seniority. Active listening and clear articulation are key.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Enterprise Architecture framework certification (e.g., TOGAF) and knowledge of EA tools are advantageous.
Security certification (e.g., CISSP, CBCI, GIAC, ISO 22301/27001) is a plus.
