Location: Hybrid (50% on-site, 50% remote)
Mission Context:
As an iOPS/DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in establishing a cloud environment for both legacy and new assets. You will ensure smooth deployment processes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to automate tasks and streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment Automation:
Use Jenkins and Digital.ai for deployment automation.
Automate deployment for Middleware, Database, and Web products using Terraform.
DevOps Practices:
Apply DevOps principles, including Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Continuous Testing, and Process Automation.
Technical Expertise:
Advanced proficiency in Linux, Shell scripting, and Python programming.
Work with infrastructure tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, Helm, Node.js, Terraform, Ansible, Docker containers, etc.
Automation & Orchestration:
Manage build and deployment automation using Ansible.
Oversee release orchestration, including application packaging, runbooks, and release pipelines/workflows.
Use tools to support Development, Testing, Quality, and Collaboration efforts.
Cloud Enablement:
Contribute to the company's cloud migration strategy and execution.
Technical Skills & Experience:
Mandatory:
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a production environment (hardware and software).
Solid understanding of cloud environments, Java, and containers.
Familiarity with architecture rules and standards.
Experience with development languages to challenge architecture decisions and offer technical support.
Preferable:
Experience with Spring Boot, Node.js.
Familiarity with Digital.ai, Jenkins, Ansible, Helm, and Terraform.
Knowledge of IBM Cloud is a plus.
Business Experience & Soft Skills:
Mandatory:
Good understanding of project methodologies and standards.
Experience working in Agile environments, especially with Scrum.
