About the Engineering Division
The Engineering Division within the company is responsible for all infrastructure projects related to the development, expansion, and renovation of the electricity transmission network (36 kV to 380 kV).
The Design High Voltage (HV) Service is tasked with preparing plans and associated documents during the feasibility and study phases for:
New high-voltage (HV) installations
Adjustments to existing HV installations
Integration of interfaces with adjacent disciplines (e.g., Powerlinks, Civil Works)
Service Description
As part of the Design HV Service, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting feasibility and preliminary studies in collaboration with the Project Leader/Project Engineer
Preparing permit plans required for regulatory applications
Drafting execution plans, including layout plans, equipment plans, and steel structure plans
Preparing associated documents such as plan lists, terminal lists, and steel structure lists
Providing ad-hoc support to the Project Leader during execution works
Applying problem-solving skills and proactively executing tasks
Working autonomously or under guidance, depending on experience
After extensive training, there is an option to work remotely up to three days per week.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or A2 diploma in electromechanics, electrical engineering, energy, or electricity
Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of electricity
Experience with CAD software (3D)
Familiarity with MS Office
Soft Skills:
Strong and assertive communicator
Customer-oriented, team player, and resourceful
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in Dutch or French (perfect command of one language required)
Knowledge of the second national language is a plus, with a willingness to improve
The majority of projects are based in Flanders, so Dutch proficiency is important
Additional Requirement: Must hold a Category B driver's license
