Service Description:As a Business Analyst at SITO, you will play a key role in the company's digital transformation. The organization has set ambitious goals for improving efficiency and quality, while also supporting the energy transition, increased renewable energy integration, and nuclear phase-out. To achieve these objectives, extensive digitization of activities and enhanced support for employees are required. Additionally, harmonization of processes between our client and their German sister company, 50Hertz, is a priority where necessary.
The Business Analyst is responsible for designing efficient business processes, capturing business needs, and translating them into specifications for IT systems. Acting as a bridge between business users and various IT partners (functional analysts, project managers, architects, etc.), you will challenge stakeholders to ensure the development and maintenance of IT tools that optimally support business processes.
We are looking for two Business Analysts to support our digitization projects:
Digitizing and optimizing resource management for Infra projects - primarily focusing on digital reporting of resource needs across all Infra projects.
Digitizing and optimizing Infra project planning - experience with MS Project is a plus, as the planning tool is based on this software.
Responsibilities:
✔ Model Business Processes & Guide Business in Redesigning Them
Identify business needs and translate them into well-defined requirements (Epics/Features/User Stories).
Challenge the business regarding their needs and future-state processes.
✔ Develop Business Information Models
Describe the necessary information to implement the requirements (e.g., interfaces, screens, reports, etc.).
Harmonize business processes across departments and between our client's Assets and 50Hertz.
Align and validate requirements between business and IT.
✔ Validate Functional Analysis & Testing
Ensure IT delivers solutions that meet business needs.
Conduct testing and validation of software releases, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
✔ Change Management & Training
Play an active role in change management.
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
Follow existing change management methodologies and toolkits.
✔ Post-Implementation Support
Assist business users with IT tools after implementation.
Additional Requirements:✅ Master's degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent experience.✅ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a business analyst, including identifying needs, drafting business requirements, and defining business processes.✅ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - not afraid to challenge ideas.✅ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).✅ Ability to work independently and in a team - able to find consensus and persuade stakeholders.✅ Strong planning and organizational skills.✅ Customer-oriented and flexible.✅ MS Project knowledge is a plus (or willingness to learn).✅ Knowledge of BPMN and UML.✅ Experience with Enterprise Architect (EA), Jira, and DevOps is a plus.✅ Experience in the electricity sector is an advantage.

English: Good proficiency (reading, writing).
Dutch or French: Excellent proficiency (speaking, reading, writing). The second national language must be understood.
